PLASTIC COMB CERLOX BINDING
Plastic Comb binding is a very popular binding method due to its professional look. It is also known as Cerlox (sometimes Surelox or Surlox) or 19-ring comb binding. This method is extremely easy to use, cheap, and can be reused. It ofers a basic closure for sheets over 400 pages that can lay flat. It is most commonly seen in schools, colleges, and offices.

HOW TO BIND A BOOK USING PLASTIC COMB/CERLOX?
Cerlox binding is most commonly used in environments where one might need to add or remove pages to the book. As such as lawyers, law firms, Universities and Colleges commonly use this binding method. The reason being that Cerlox can be opened and closed easily and many times over without needing a new binding element or damaging the book integrity.
Books bound with Cerlox need to be punched with the correct die pattern, check to ensure you are using the Cerlox (also known as Plastic Comb) die. This pattern will enable the binding element to fit in properly.
Measure the thickness of the book and select the diameter of comb required (see chart below)
Select the color of Cerlox that you require for the job.
Insert the Cerlox binding element into a Cerlox opener, pull the handle to open the binding element. Insert the pages of your book in order. Once all pages are inserted close the binding element. Book complete!
